Our Mission
We are MicheLee Puppets. We are committed to providing compelling theatrical programs that positively impact the lives of Florida’s children and families. Each year our programs on diversity, youth violence, literacy, and health give thousands of young people tools to cope with life’s challenges and motivation to make meaningful contributions to society.
MicheLee Puppets is Central Florida’s premiere puppetry arts organization. Our children’s theatre productions feature a variety of puppetry styles and multi-media to delight and inspire more than 100,000 young people from every race, culture and economic background each year.
MicheLee puppets was formed as a non-profit organization in 1985 to provide entertaining and educational puppet shows for Central Florida children. We have grown from a two person, home based operation reaching 6,500 students to a well respected organization comprised of 10 staff members reaching more than 100,000 young people throughout Florida each year.
